iOS Apps Crash Frequently Than Android Apps!
If you are an iOS fan and an 'oppose'
Android, look at this report. You may be forced to change your
opinion after reading this study.
A recent report released by
Crittercism, a research startup that analyses mobile app crashes,
shows that iOS suffers from more app crashes when compared to
Android. The data is based on more than 214 million apps launched
between November and December of 2011. The data revealed that iOS
apps crashed much more frequently as compared to the ones on Android.
Have a look at the pie graph to have a fair idea of this:

The iOS apps cover around 75 per cent
of the total crashes. There are a number of reasons for these app
crashes. iOS 5 is new to the market, so there are problems with
hardware, Internet connectivity, language support, or the old poorly
coded apps.
On the other hand, despite being blamed
for fragmentation, force closes and incompatible apps, it is more
stable than iOS.
