Indian Dev's Free Angry Birds-Like Game Tops Google Play!
Balloon Bow and Arrow topped the all India level of Top Free Android Apps category at Google Play on 20 November 2012
A new Android game following the foot steps of the popular Angry Birds, named Balloon Bow and Arrow, has topped the list at the all India level of Top Free Android Apps category at Google Play on 20 November 2012. Balloon Bow and Arrow is developed by an Indian developer, Manas Gajare, who is based out of Nashik in Maharashtra. Gajare is the only developer in the city. The game was launched on 11 October and it was ranked thirtieth in the free game category and on 20 November the game topped the chart and even race passed the popular Angry Birds game.

Though closely linked with Angry Birds, the game replaces the catapult and birds with bows, arrows and balloons. According to the comments at the Google Play game page, gamers found the game to be fun and a good replacement for Angry Birds. Some even mentioned it as a stress relieving game.

According to the description of Balloon Bow and Arrow at Google Play, "You have got a bow and 25 arrows. Shoot as many balloons as you can. This is a fun game to make you time more entertaining. The game has got beautiful graphics, excellent animation, realistic sound effects and accurate physics effects! Background image is realistic as well, it gives player a feeling as if he is practicing by the river side."
Developer Manas Gajare has a Bachelor of Engineer (BE) degree in Computer Science and a Master of Science (MSc) in Maths.
