EAFT Technologies, a Bangalore-based company, has unveiled its 3rd generation tablet PCs D90T and D70P as a part of its Destiny range. According to the company statement, the D90T comes with 24.6-cm (9.7-inch) IPS display that provides viewing in landscape and portrait modes. On the other hand, the D70P tablet PC sports a 17.7-cm (7-inch) display and has an in-built 3G radio providing universal connectivity. This tablet PC is powered by a 1.6 GHz Cortex A9 processor. The D70P comes packed with HDMI, USB, extendable memory card slot and a powerful 4,000 mAh battery.

One of the most intriguing feature about these tablets is that WorldSpace is available on a smart device for the first time. These tablets have a pre-embedded WorldSpace app. Users can download WorldSpace programs on EAFT’s Destiny tablet PCs and listen to them as per their convenience, unlike internet radio which streams music only in real-time. The app can be used free of cost for the first six months of service, claims the company.
The WorldSpace application is also available on the Google Play Store for Android tablet PCs and smartphones and the service will be available free of cost for one month in non-EAFT devices as well. The D90T is priced at Rs 16,990, but for now it is available at an offer price of Rs 14,990 and while the D70P is priced at Rs 12,990. The company is offering D70P tablet PC at Rs 10,990.
