Here Comes Snapseed, An Instagram Like App, For Android!

Google has launched an all-new content sharing app called Snapseed. The app has come as an alternative to Instagram and offers similar features like editing images and sharing them via Google+ or other social networks.
Snapseed has been developed by Nik Software, which was recently bought by Google. It is worth noticing that Snapseed app was recognised as the best iPad app last year. Apple users had to pay $4.99 for buying the app. However, the app is now available for free for both Android and iOS users.

Vic Gundotra, senior vice president, Google, wrote in an official blog post, "Having welcomed Nik to the Google family, we're excited to bring their Snapseed app (last year's iPad app of the year) to Android."
The app offers the ability to make basic adjustments like straighten, tune and crop, add creative filters like drama, black and white, and vintage that users can apply individually or in combination to images. Users can also use one 'Point technology' to enhance the brightness of a part of the picture.
According to the blog post, Snapseed will include:
* Basic adjustments like tune, straighten and crop
* Creative filters like drama, black & white, and vintage that you can apply individually or in combination
* Control Point technology to selectively enhance your photo—to brighten just a face, for instance, or deepen just the sky
* The ability to share your creations via Google+ and other services
Snapseed is now available on Google Play and Apple's App Store.
