Samsung Galaxy S4 Codenamed As Project J; To Come In April 2013

Samsung is working towards it next flagship, Galaxy Android smartphone- Galaxy S4. Previously, we reported that the Korean tech giant would launch its Super AMOLED displays at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES), which will be held in January 2013. But Samsung has some different plans now. It is planning to introduce the Galaxy S4 at an individual event in April 2013.

A recent leak also reveals that a handset named as Project J would be the upcoming Galaxy S4 smartphone. It is said that the Korean Giant will integrate the Samsung Galaxy S4 with Exynos 5450 chipset, which means that it will have a quad-core Cortex 2GHz A15 processor. Also, it will use an 8 core GPU, Mali-658 unit.
Insiders have revealed that the next flagship Galaxy smartphone would sport a 12.7-cm (4.99-inch) 1080p HD display. According to latest rumours, the S4 would feature a 13 mega pixel rear camera. The rumour appears to be true as Samsung previously has planned to include a 13 mega pixel camera into its Galaxy Note II.
We can also speculate that the optical technology for the camera of Galaxy S4 might be made by Sony as the company was expected to supply the same for the Galaxy Note 2 but failed due to shortage in supply.
