Friday, November 30, 2012:
Samsung has big plans for its Galaxy Note N7000. Not only will the phablet get an Android 4.1 Jelly Bean upgrade, the Galaxy Note will also get the multi-screen feature along with the update. The multi-screen feature was introduced in the Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet. Previously, the Galaxy Note 2 got the feature.
The multi-view enhances the multitasking capabilities, allowing users to run two apps on the screen simultaneously. The feature splits the display between two devices so that two applications can be showcased on the same screen, enhancing multitasking in real time.

But the multi-view feature only supports a limited number of applications. For example, the feature on the Note 10.1 only supports Samsung apps. However, the Galaxy Note II brings multi-view support for Google apps like Gmail, YouTube, Chrome and Google Talk. It can be used along with the list of Samsung apps, which already have support for the feature.
A version of Android 4.1.2 for model number GT-N7000 has been leaked and is available for downloading. However, this version doesn’t include multi-screen feature. Previously in October, a similar Jelly Bean upgrade was leaked and now we are starting to wonder whether it's Samsung's new strategy of testing the Jelly Bean versions. Sources reveal that the Jelly Bean update for Galaxy Note requires further development. Also, the Jelly Bean update for Galaxy S2 would arrive soon.
