Wednesday, November 14, 2012:
With its latest beta release of Chrome Web browser, Google has introduced an array of new features for developers. One of the major ones is an expanded data list support through which developers can set specific dates and times for input elements. Developers can also enter arbitrary dates and times. The Beta release brings in support for the MathML XML markup language: with MathML. Developers are now allowed to write mathematical content including formulas which is then displayed across all web pages and modern browsers.

The beta release also brings in CSS Custom Filters. Developers cab use it to add cinematic visual effects to HTML using CSS syntax. Previously, Google had released the latest version of the Chrome Web browser for Windows, Mac and Linux. The version is actually 23.0.1271.64. According to Google notes, this release comes with a slew of new features that “include GPU accelerated video decoding on Windows and easier website permissions.” This basically indicates that you can expect a better battery life. The search giant also said that “dedicated graphics chips draw far less power than a computer’s CPU, so using GPU-accelerated video decoding while watching videos can increase battery life significantly.”
Moreover, with the easier website permissions, it would get “easier to view and control any website’s permissions for capabilities such as geolocation, pop-ups, and camera/microphone access.” Users can also send Do Not Track request to websites.
