Monday, November 12, 2012:
Motorola has rolled out Android 4.1 Jelly Bean upgrade to its Droid RAZR M smartphone. Verizon Wireless has introduced the official update today and the upgrade will reach in several phases from now. Users may not get an automatic upgrade notification, so manually check for an update in the System Settings.
However, Verizon has announced that users will get the manually update until next week. The upgrade brings in cool features like smart keyboard predictions along with some advanced Motorola tweaks.

The upgrade brings all the goodies that Jelly Bean has in store along with the GoogleWallet feature. Previously, Motorola introduced a unique buy back program through which customers will get $100 if they replace their old Android phone, the ones that won't get Jelly Bean update, with a new Android phone. So, if you own handsets like Droid 3, Atrix 4G or Cliq 2, then you can replace it with the newly released Droid Razr Maxx HD, Droid Razr HD or the Antrix HD. In September 2012, Motorola had promised its customers that they could receive a $100 credit toward the purchase of a new handset if the old Android phone wasn't on the list for the Jelly Bean update. However, this buy back program is only restricted to the United States.
The compensation of $100 is obviously not in the form of cash. Motorola will give this out as Verizon Wireless gift card, Motorola Via prepaid card, carrier credit, or something similar to this. According to ARS Technica, “Most of the handsets on the list are featured on the Verizon Wireless network, U.S. Cellular and Sprint subscribers will be able to participate in the buy back program with handsets like the Electrify and Titanium.”
Spec sheet of Droid RAZR M:
