Videocon's Dual SIM Android Smartphones Spotted Online

Videocon Mobiles stint in the smartphone market was very short as it stepped back just after launching two smartphones. And now Videocon is back with a bang with two Android powered smartphone models for the Indian market. Both the handsets, A20 and A30 are dual SIM and are available through e-commerce portal, Flipkart. These smartphones are marked as Coming Soon on the portal.

The Videocon A20 features a 8.89-cm (3.5-inch) capacitive display and is powered by 1GHz processor. It runs Google's Android 2.3 aka Gingerbread and sports 3 MP rear camera. The handset also has a front camera for video calling and has Wi-Fi as a connectivity option. The price of this device is expected to be somewhere between Rs 5,000 and 6,000, reports AndroidOs.in.
On the other hand, there is Videocon A30, which has a 10.16-cm (4-inch) touchscreen display and runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. It boasts of its 5 MP rear camera along with a front camera. The device is powered by 1GHz dual-core processor and 1500 mAh battery. The price for this smartphone is likely to be around Rs 10,000.
Now, all the local brands have one more brand to compete with as both the handsets look similar to Chinese OEM products like mobile phones from Micromax, Karbonn, Spice and other local manufacturers. But as of now, there is no word on the availability of these smartphones in the market but the launch is expected sometime soon.
