ASUS showcased its dual screen convertible ultrabook cum tablet featuring a 33.8-cm (13.3-inch) full HD screen with a backlit keyboard at Rs 1,39,999.

Friday, November 09, 2012 ASUS has introduced its series of Windows 8 based devices in India starting at Rs 39,999. The series includes a dual screen convertible ultrabook cum tablet named ASUS Taichi, two laptops named VivoBook F202E and VivoBook S400 and a Windows RT based tablet named VivoTab RT TF600 TG.

The Taichi dual screen convertible ultrabook cum tablet sports 33.8-cm (13.3-inch) full HD screen with a backlit keyboard. Taichi is simply a ultrabook with two screens. When the lid is open, the Taichi becomes a notebook and while the lid is closed, it becomes a tablet with a multi-touch full HD screen. The ASUS Taichi will be available in India at Rs 1,39,999 by 10 December 2012. The device is based on Windows 8 Pro and comes with touch-enabled TFT LCD display, Intel Core i7-3517M, HD Camera 5M, Stylus Pen, Ram 4GB DDR3 1600, and storage 256GB SATA3 SSD. It has built-in motion sensors for mobile gaming, dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0.

ASUS VivoBook F202E comes with 29.5-cm (11.6-inch) LED Backlight HD screen with a capacitive touch panel with multi-touch function. It has the latest Microsoft Windows 8 operating system with third generation Intel Core i3- 3217U (1.8G, 3M) Intel Chief River processor. It weighs only 1.3 KG and includes USB 3.0 multi gesture and larger click pad measuring 104mmx60.5mm. It has dual speakers of capacity 2Watt each powered by ASUS exclusive Sonic Master Technology &high quality HD Camera (720P) for ultimate multimedia enjoyment. Longer battery life up to 5 Hrs is another advantage it provides.

It has 4GB of DDR3 RAM on board along with 500GB HDD, WLAN 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth4.0 and HD CODEC Audio along with ASUS exclusive Sonic Master Technology produces superior sound.

ASUS VivoBook S400 sports a 35.6-cm (14-inch) LED Backlight HD screen, a capacitive touch panel with multi touch function. It has the latest Microsoft Windows 8 with 3rd Generation Intel Core i7-3517U (1.9G, 4M) processor along with DDR3 4 GB RAM and 500 GB HDD, WLAN 802.11b/g/n& Bluetooth4.0. Asus VivoBook comes with high quality HD camera for ultimate multimedia experience.

The Vivo Tab RT comes with its own mobile dock that provides a QWERTY keyboard, track pad, USB port and built-in battery. It has a 25.7-cm (10.1-inch) HD Glare with capacitive multi-touch and Nvidia Tegra3 processor with 2 GB of DDR3 RAM and 64GB of internal memory. It also features WLAN 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 along with 2 megapixel front camera and 8 megapixel rear camera with flash. The device is based on Windows RT operating system and comes with docking station, 3G and GPS.

The ASUS Taichi will be available in India at a price of Rs 139,999.

The ASUS VivoBook F202E will be available in India at a price of Rs 39,999.

The ASUS VivoBook S400 will be available in India at a price of Rs 59,999.

The ASUS VivoTab RT TF600 TG will be available in India at a price of Rs 61,999.
