ASUS PadFone To Hit Indian Market Next Week!

The latest buzz in the tablet market is for the ASUS PadFone, which will hit the Indian market along with the Transformer Pad TF300T in a week's time. The price has not been disclosed yet but will be announced very soon. The device is a combination of two different devices, a tablet and a smartphone, which can be docked together as a laptop using a keyboard.

The Padfone Station (tablet) features a 25.6-cm (10.1-inch) and houses 1.3 MP front camera. It has connectivity options, such as; micro USB and micro HDMI. The device is said to be 13.65-mm thick and weighs around 724 grams.
The phone part of ASUS PadFone is powered by dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor and runs Android 4.0 aka Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS). The device has 1GB RAM and comes in three variants – 16GB, 32GB and 64GB, internal memory. Also, it sports a 10.9-cm (4.3-inch) Super AMOLED qHD display, 8MP rear camera with LED flash, VGA front camera and 1520 mAh battery.
Whereas, ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T features 25.9-cm (10.2-inch) IPS display and is powered by NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad core CPU, 8MP auto-focus camera, runs Android 4.0 but Jelly Bean update also available for selected markets.
