Google Discontinues GTalk Mobile Web App

Internet search giant, Google dissolved its mobile Web application version of its Google Talk chat service. This means Apple fans have to find an alternative for their iOS based devices for using GTalk. "We are shutting down the mobile web app for Google Talk. For mobile users who want to continue using Google Talk, we recommend using the native Google Talk app on Android or any XMPP-compliant apps on iOS or other mobile platforms," wrote Katherine G, a Google representative, on Google Chat support site.

Google account subscribers mostly use GTalk for chatting. The search giant is now looking forward to add other “exciting updates to chat.” The company "We are working hard on some new and exciting updates to chat in the future, so keep an eye out!" One of the users wrote in the support page, “Screw you Google - you broke my heart.”
Also, the Google Sync app for BlackBerry smartphones is already discontinued. Google Sync allowed BlackBerry users to synchronize their Google contacts and calendars with their smartphones. Google advised it subscribers to use the BlackBerry Internet Service or the Google Apps Connector for BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
