When it comes to external storage products, Western Digital (WD) has always been in the reckoning among major players in the segment.

With its entry into the Home Networking segment in the country, WD looks to tap into the penetration of this segment in India. WD has launched its My Net home routers price starting from Rs 5,699 to Rs 25,999. There are 5 models in this range and the router can be accessed via LCD's, iPad's through Android and iOS app that the company offers.

The products have been designed specifically to accelerate movies, video and gaming, deliver a premium high-definition entertainment experience.
EFYTimes.com spoke to Khalid Wani,sales director, Branded Products, India, Middle East and Africa, on the sidelines of the launch event, where he talked about the potential of the router reaching the Indian consumer and also WD's plans for the future.
