MWC 2012: ZTE Launches Quad-Core Android ICS Devices  
 
ZTE has announced a slew of new Android and Windows phone devices at the ongoing Mobile World Congress event at Barcelona.

Tuesday, February 28, 2012 ZTE has introduced its latest range of tablets with the launch of ZTE quad-core PF100; T98 (with Android ICS) and Dual-core V96 & V9S (with Android Gingerbread) tablets along with a huge selection of high-end Android and Windows phone devices at the MWC 2012.

Chinese mobile manufacturer ZTE has revealed its new quad-core duo – the PF100 and T98. The ZTE PF100 tablet comes equipped 25.65-cm (10.1-inch) display screen with WXGA resolution, 5 megapixels camera, 1.5GHz NVIDIA T30S processor and the latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS. It packs 1GB of onboard RAM and 16GB of storage for the users. However, the ZTE T98 device packs a smaller 17.78-cm (7-inch) display.

The other new devices included a couple of dual-core tablets, such as the ZTE V96 and ZTE V9S. The V96 model sports an impressive 1.7GHz Qualcomm CPU, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage and a 5 megapixels camera. Whereas, the V9S models packs 1.2GHz and bears somewhat similar specs. Both these devices will run Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, which may be upgradable shortly as per the company.

Furthermore, ZTE has lined up an army of smartphones for this event. Out of the many new announced smartphones, ZTE's flagship phone for the year is going to be the ZTE Era. The device packs a 10.92-cm (4.3-inch) qHD display, Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core 1.3GHz processor.

The ZTE Mimosa X comes equipped with a 10.92-cm (4.3-inch) qHD screen with 960x540 pixel resolutions, a 5-megapixel camera, a front-facing camera, and an expandable memory slot capable of 32GB.

The ZTE Kis smartphone comes equipped with an 8.89-cm (3.5-inch) HVGA display, 3.2 megapixels camera with LED flash, Qualcomm MSM7225A 800 MHz processor, 256MB RAM, 200MB internal storage and Android 2.3.5.

ZTE has also unveiled the sequel to its popular Blade model. The ZTE Blade II smartphone again sports an 8.89-cm (3.5-inch) display, a 5 megapixels rear camera, 0.3 megapixsels front camera, 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM, NFC and Android 2.3 with Mifavor UI.

Powered with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS, the ZTE PF112 HD packs a big 11.43-cm (4.5-inch) 720p screen, and 8 megapixels camera, 8GB of storage, 1GB of RAM, FM, Wi-Fi, BT 3.0, GPS, DLNA, MHL and HD Voice.

The other notable launches included ZTE N91 which features a 10.92-cm (4.3-inch) WVGA screen, a 5 megapixels camera, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 512MB RAM, LTE, Android 4.0, 4GB Internal memory, BT 2.1, Wi-Fi, DLNA and GPS.

The ZTE Skate Acqua comes equipped with a 10.16-cm (4-inch) WVGA display, a 5 megapixels camera, Android 2.3, 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB Internal memory and 1600 mAh battery power.

The next model ZTE PF200 sports 10.92-cm (4.3-inch) qHd screen, an 8 megapixels camera, 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB Internal memory, Android 4.0, LTE support, NFC, DLNA, GPS, BT 2.1 and MHL.

ZTE has Windows Phone in its lineup to showcase at the event as well. The company has unveiled the ZTE Orbit smartphone. The device packs 10.92-cm (4.3-inch) screen, a 5 megapixels camera, a 1GHz processor and NFC support.
