Similar to the MI-One smartphone, developed by Xiaomi, which packs the popular MIUI custom ROM instead of stock Android, here's a tablet version of the same for retail in Japan. The Eden Tab also runs custom MIUI OS instead of standard Android.
The Eden Tab sports a 17.78-cm (7-inch) display screen, a 1.2Ghz processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, 1280×800 LCD screen and Wi-Fi. The device offers standard MicroUSB for data and charging, a MicroSD card slot and HDMI out.

The Eden Tab presently runs on the Android Gingerbread version of MIUI. However, it can be upgraded to MIUI 4 Android Ice Cream Sandwich in future, but there's no official word on the release date as yet. The device flaunts a set of three capacitive navigation buttons as well, reports Android Community.
Available in black, white and pink colours, the Eden Tab Android tablet is priced at $370 and available for pre-order in Japan. Also, there's an upcoming 3G version of the tablet slated to be released in April.
