ZTE To Launch Mimosa X with NVIDIA Tegra 2, Icera Modem

ZTE is set to launch Mimosa X at MWC - the first smartphone with NVIDIA Tegra 2, Icera modem and Android 4.0 OS.

ZTE Mimosa X smartphone packs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS and the device comes equipped with Tegra 2 and NVIDIA’s Icera model technology. Chip-maker NVIDIA has now adopted Icera modem technology, which is now being used by company's Tegra 2 SoC in ZTE Mimosa X device.
The upcoming Tegra 2 toting ZTE Mimosa X smartphone sports 10.92-cm (4.3-inch) qHD display, a 5 megapixels rear camera and 4GB of internal memory. Reportedly, the device will also feature Dolby sound, DLNA compatibility, dual microphones and built-in gyroscope.

"The ZTE Mimosa X is exciting for a few reasons. The Mimosa X marks the first time NVIDIA technology powers all the major processors in a single smartphone, and also the first time a premium mobile computing experience is coming to the mainstream smartphone market," stated Michael Rayfield, general manager of the Mobile business at NVIDIA.
Also, earlier ZTE announced two LTE Android 4.0 smartphones PF200 and N910, reports AndroiOS.in. The ZTE Mimosa X smartphone along with two other Android 4.0 smartphones are expected to be unveiled at Mobile World Congress. However, ZTE Mimosa X will be available in the market around Q2.
