LG's latest smartphone with 12.7-cm display is likely to challenge Samsung Galaxy Note.

Samsung Galaxy Note was yet to have its share of fame but LG has other plans for it, as it is soon going to launch its challenger Optimus Vu. The Optimus Vu smartphone from LG is said to feature a 12.7-cm display with a 4:3 aspect ratio. Optimus Vu is expected to release first in South Korea and then it would launch in Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. LG released a teaser clip of its upcoming handset on its blog.

Much information about the latest Android device from LG is not available. According to the rumours, Optimus Vu will come with 1024x768p IPS display, 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, run Gingerbread (upgradable to ICS), 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, 8MP rear camera and NFC.
