Ice Cream Sandwich update builds for Samsung Galaxy S II are appearing officially every week. The latest one being some UI changes as well as improvement in battery performance. It is also said to be decent for daily use.
We do not recommend it for everyone unless you know how to flash Gingerbread back on Galaxy S2.
Galaxy S II Specs
Android’s 2.3.5 Gingerbread operating system is on board, and the device measures 129.8 x 68.8 x 9.49 mm (5.11 x 2.71 x 0.37 inches) and weighs 4.60 oz (130 g). Super AMOLED Plus technology delivers 480 x 800 pixel resolution on a capacitive multi-touch screen. The battery is an 1850 mg model and offers 7 hours of continuous talk time on a single battery charge and as much as 11 days standby. A dual core 1.5 GHz processor is on board the Skyrocket, a graphics processing chip has been added, and system memory is 1.0 GB RAM. 16 GB of onboard storage are also offered, and that total can be ramped up to 32 GB of overall storage utilising the microSD slot. Dual cameras arrive as 8.0 megapixel and 2.0 megapixel models.

The front facing 2.0 megapixel chat cam records in 720P HD and also offers video call functionality. The rear facing camera delivers LED flash, smile detection, panorama and autofocus features, and records in 1080P HD at 30 frames per second.
Facebook, Picasa and Twitter social apps have been installed, along with a YouTube video player and HTML Web browser. Bluetooth version 3.0 and Wi-Fi b, g, n and a wireless access options are also present.
