HTC Corp. has plans to revamp its Sensation smartphone in a big way. Not only does the device will get a new colour, but it will also have Android 4.0 out-of-the-box. The Ice White coloured device will be available on 1 March 2012.
A glance at the image of the device makes us feel that it is pretty identical to the Sensation XE, but this one is sans the Beats branding. This is the original Sensation, so its specs would remain the same.

The company also has plans to update the existing Sensation phones like the XE and XL to Ice Cream Sandwich. However, no timeline for this has been revealed so far. The update will be available over the air, so you will get an alert once it is available in your country. The company will roll out the update in waves.
It is speculated that the company will roll-out the update almost at the same time as the launch of the new Sensation. One really cannot be sure if the device will feature the new version of Sense. A final word on the feature is awaited from the company.
The specs of the new Sensation include the same qHD, 10.9-cm (4.3-inch) screen, 8MP camera and a 1.2GHz dual-core processor.
