Infosys To Hire 13,000 For Indore Facility

IT major has agreed to invest Rs 6000 million in its proposed facility in the city.

Indore is developing as a major IT centre of the country with big IT players planning investment in the city. Infosys has inked a Memorandum of Understanding with the Madhya Pradesh government on Tuesday where the IT major has agreed to invest Rs 6000 million in its proposed facility in the city.
The IT major eyes at creating over 13,000 jobs with this investment in Indore. The MoU was signed by Hari Ranjan Rao, secretary IT, government of Madhya Pradesh, and Chandraketu Jha, vice president, Infosys, in the presence of Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the chief minister of the state and Kailash Vijaywargiya, industries minister at the State Mantralaya, revealed the official source. Chouhan said that this MoU will encourage more investment in the state.

Infy has got 130 acre land on 33-year lease from the state government. The company aims to complete the project in the next five years. Infosys is setting up the facility at the Super Corridor in Indore.
