Super-Size Galaxy Note Hits US With AT&T 4G Network

Samsung Electronics has made an announcement, on the eve of the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, that their latest super-size smartphone Galaxy Note will be unveiled in the United States on AT&T's 4G network.
The Galaxy Note has a 13.5-cm (5.3-inch) touchscreen and is wider than most of its competitors like Apple's iPhone 4S that has an 8.8-cm (3.5-inch) display. The device runs the latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. The smartphone was made available in Asia and Europe in October, but the exact pricing and availability in the US market was not announced then, states an AFP report.

The smartphone comes with a stylus called the 'S pen', using which people can write notes and scribble directly on the screen as they would do on a piece of paper. The handwritten notes can also be shared with others.
According to the company, the Galaxy Note is best for viewing videos, surfing the Web, running applications or reading electronic books, as compared to other smartphones.
